What does CPC stand for? |
|
CPC
stands for Chaos Puzle Corporation. Why use Chaos? Like Chaos Theory,
a puzzle is nothing more than a system that appears chaotic, and without
order, the truth however is that their is an underlying order that the
puzzle solver must reveal. The "chaos" in chaos theory is order--not
simply order, but the very ESSENCE of order. This is the design that we
at CPC are striving for in both our corporate model for restructuring as
well as in the development and design of our unique puzzles. |

What is the CPC Digital Assistant? |
|
The
Computer Department here at CPC has designed “Floppy” a digital
assistant to help answer questions that you may have and to assist by
providing additional information as your browse the CPC website. Floppy
can provide information in one of two ways: First, when you move the
mouse pointer over the digital assistant a brief text message
(containing help or information) will be displayed. Secondly, some
pages will allow you to click on “Floppy” to view a help or information
screen. |

I get a 404 error, what should I do? |
|
Our
website is optimized to be viewed with the “Internet Explorer” browsing
software. Please make sure that you are using the newest software
available (click here) and that you have any and all pop-up or banner
blocking software disabled. If you are compliant with the previous
statement and are still having difficulty viewing any of the pages
contained within our website you can email a DPR (Display Problem
Report) to
dpr@choreographedchaos.com. Make sure that your email specifically describes the
page or area of the website that you are having difficulty viewing and
make sure to include your browser version. The DPR system is fully
automated and will run a diagnostic routine when it is alerted to
problems – you can
expect a generated response detailing the DPR findings. If the DPR
does not make errors - if it reports that the website is operating
properly then something on your end is preventing proper viewing or
display of the page. Please keep in mind
that when submitting a DPR our system will only process the problem that
directly relates to viewing the website – the computer can not help you
troubleshoot software issues, provide technical support or answer other
unrelated question. |

What
if I need Technical Assistance with the CPC website? |
|
Currently we are experiencing some
technical glitches with the online
website and remote access of our server
for the individual departments due to
the overwhelming success of
Choreographed Chaos.
Unfortunately, we have also experienced what appears to be
several attempts to hack
the CPC network. We are currently
tracing all IP addresses accessing
sensitive areas of the CPC network and
website. If you are experiencing
any problems with the system please
submit a TAR (Technical Assistance
Request) to
TAR@choreographedchaos.com.
Make sure that your email specifically
describes the area of the website that
you are having difficulty with and a
full explanation of the problem.
Our Computer Department will look at
your report and respond as quickly as
possible. Please keep in mind that
when submitting a TAR our technicians
will only research the problem that
directly relates to the website or
network – they can not help you
troubleshoot software issues, provide
technical support or answer other
unrelated questions. |

Why am I
having problems with the CPC email system? |
|
It is important to note that ever since
Choreographed Chaos went live, online, the CPC servers have been
overloaded with traffic. Because of this high volume of bandwidth
our servers sometimes reject multiple emails from outside sources.
This means that we have set internal email as a priority for CPC
employees but email from systems connecting to our network are
susceptible to spam filters. If you send more than 3 emails to CPC
in less than 15 minutes your IP address (computer) may be blocked for up
to 24 hours. This means that the network may not accept emails
from your computer for this short period of time. We have employed
this step to help reduce the amount of spam that our employees are
subjected to. When your email is blocked it does not bounce back
to you – instead it is placed in the server “black hole” and deleted.
If you have emailed someone here at CPC and have not received a response
it is probable that they did not receive your message. All CPC
employees respond to email within 24 hours. If you have emailed an
individual here at CPC and have not received a response please try
emailing them again. If you are trying to contact several CPC
employees please wait at least 15 minutes in-between sending each email. |
